'Family Reloaded' workshops, Vienna
A series of 'Family Reloaded' workshops was launched in secondary schools across Vienna, inviting students to explore family memories, storytelling and filmmaking practices.
The project was partially funded by OeAD Kultur:Bildung.
April 2026 — Critical Fabulation & Anonymity course and showcase
The symposium and final screening of the Critical Fabulation and Anonymity course at the Central European University Visual Studies Program, co-taught by Klára Trencsényi and Hanin Hannouch, took place at the Weltmuseum Wien. The event brought together more than 50 film professionals, academics, professors, and students from CEU and other universities for a day of screenings, discussion, and exchange, with the participation of Gewächshaus filmmakers.
July 2025 - MA7 support for Archiv der Leere
The innovative feature length documentary project,
ARCHIV DER LEERE receives MA7 development support for script development. The collaborative documentary explores how teenagers rework and reinterpret their families’ analogue memories.
Award-winning documentary director Peter Kerekes has joined the project as dramaturgical consultant.
September 2024 — My new feature length doc project, ARCHIV DER LEERE enters research and development phase with support from the FC Gloria Mentorship programme.
The project is tutored by renowned Austrian filmmaker, ANJA SALOMONOWITZ.
3rd of February 2025 — The Missing Tale reaches home!
The Missing Tale was screened in Cochin at the FETE Festival, organised by the Film and Television Department of Sacred Heart College. It was the first public screening attended by the film’s protagonists, Babu Elias Josephai and Thaha Ibrahim, who shared their experiences and answered questions from the audience.
A special thank you to the festival organizers, and especially to Dr. Asha Achy Joseph, whose support has been an important part of the film’s journey from the very beginning.
